Profile
I’m a trauma-informed Supervisor and EMDRIA-Approved Consultant who enjoys helping social workers grow into confident, ethical clinicians who are prepared for independent practice and a long-term clinical social work career. My clinical work focuses on trauma, attachment, and relationship concerns, with advanced training in EMDR+IFS integration and Emotionally Focused Therapy. My work is grounded in understanding how early experiences, relationships, and the nervous system influence mental health and healing.
Beyond my clinical work, I enjoy contributing to the profession through teaching, leadership, and mentorship. I develop continuing education for social workers on topics including clinical supervision, ethics, and private practice; I serve as Vice President of the NASW-Texas Chapter Board of Directors; and I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultantâ„¢. These experiences keep me actively engaged in the evolving clinical, ethical, and regulatory issues shaping social work today, which I bring to supervision to help supervisees build sound judgment and confidence.
I take a collaborative approach to supervision and encourage curiosity, thoughtful discussion, and questions without fear of judgment. I provide a supervision experience that is engaging, supportive, and directly applicable to your everyday practice. My goal is not simply to help you complete supervision hours, but to help you become a confident, thoughtful, and ethical clinical social worker.
Together we’ll strengthen your clinical reasoning, case conceptualization, diagnostic skills, treatment planning, documentation, ethical decision-making, and confidence working with complex cases. I want to help you understand not only what to do, but also why you’re doing it. You’ll receive honest feedback, practical guidance, and encouragement while being challenged to think critically and develop your own clinical voice.
